When Kybella is injected into the fat under your chin, it targets fat cells, resulting in a reduction of fullness that appears under your chin. This occurs due to the active deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule that breaks down and absorbs dietary fat. The destroyed fat cells can no longer store or accumulate fat in the treated area.
Kybella treatments vary from patient to patient, depending on the amount of fat that needs to be eliminated. Most patients undergo a series of treatments to achieve the best results.

What to Expect
Your Results & Recovery
After the Kybella treatment, you may experience some swelling, bruising, or numbness in the treatment area. Some mild discomfort may last for a couple of days, and some residual swelling and bruising may last for up to four weeks. After a Kybella treatment, you may return to your daily activities. Over the following weeks, you will notice a reduction in your double chin. You may need multiple treatments for best results, and our team will create an appropriate schedule.
