What to Expect

Since Radiesse dermal filler stimulates collagen in the skin, the desired results are not immediate. You will see some immediate results from the injectable gel, but it may take a couple of months to see the full results from your Radiesse procedure. Your results will continually improve as collagen is built in the skin and adds more volume. Luckily, the results are long-lasting, so they wait is worth it. There is no official downtime with Radiesse dermal filler. You are free to go about your normal day post-treatment – the local anesthetic will cause some numbness for the next few hours. Most patients experience some swelling, bruising, and redness in the treatment area for a few days. Over the next few weeks and months, you’ll begin to notice a more youthful appearance.
